Run with the Dogs 5K Race & 1 Mile Fun Run

The 2nd annual Run With the Dogs 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run at Hurricane Lake was a success.  Thanks to all those who came out to run or walk, and financial contributions from Regions Bank and Friends in Christ Lutheran Church, the Striders were able to present the Humane Society of Saline County with a check for $1,700!.  

Thanks also to the volunteers both from the Striders and the Humane Society who helped make this race a success, and to the Kroger store in Benton for providing post race refreshments. We hope to be able to hold this fund raising event again next year to help support a worthy cause in Saline County.
