Run with the Dogs 5K Race & 1 Mile Fun Run

The first annual Run With the Dogs 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run at Hurricane Lake was a success.  Thanks to all those who came out to run or walk, the Striders raised over $1,200 in race fees after expenses.  Thanks to financial contributions from Regions Bank, Randy Collins with Farm Bureau Insurance, and the Hurricane Creek Property Owners Association, the Striders presented the Humane Society of Saline County with a check for $1,750.  

Thanks also to the volunteers both from the Striders and the Humane Society who helped make this race a success. 

We hope to be able to hold this fund raising event again next year to help support a worthy cause in Saline County.
