2017 is the 19th running of the Arkansas Runner 2 Mile Race

2017 marks the first year that the Arkansas Runner 2M will be held at the Boys and Girls club at the brand new Riverside Park in Benton.   Race day registration is $25 for the 2 mile race. Kids 1 mile race is free.

**Members of the Saline County Striders get a $3 discount when signing up online between May 16 and June 8. Discount does not apply on race day.

Race Day Parking

Parking is available in the west half of lot 4 and all of lots 1, 2 & 3. Additional parking is also available to the South.

The address is 1810 Citizen’s Drive, Benton AR 72015 – it’s a new address and your GPS might not recognize it. Alternatively you can use 1207 Holland Park Rd, Benton, AR 72015 which will get you to the complex.

Packet Pick-up and Race Day Registration

6:00 am – 7:00 am at the Boys and Girls Club. Race day registration is $25 . Shirts are only guaranteed to those pre-registered by May 21st. The timing chip must be attached to your shoe in order to receive an official finish time.

Start Line and Pre-Race

The Arkansas Runner 2M will start at 7:30 am, the kids race will follow at 8:30am.

The start and finish line will be within feet of the Boys and Girls Club, we are still working on the certification but be assured that maps will be posted as soon as they are available.

The race is part of the Arkansas Grand Prix again this year, which means it will have many competitive runners. Line up according to your ability, we want an enjoyable time for everyone and getting run over won’t be enjoyable for anyone!

Finish Line and Post-Race

After crossing the finish line, there will be volunteers who will remove the timing chip from your shoe. If you chip is not returned, you will be charged $30 to replace it. 

Water and refreshments will be near the finish line with the awards ceremony to follow in the Boys & Girls Club.
